I borrowed a cd off an apprentice at work today and was rocking out to System of a Downs - Toxicity today on the way home (think I might've blown a speaker).
Love my music, so what's everyone else listening to?

Er, wind noise from the mirror.

We are yet to put any cd into it yet, when it will probably be classical $2 each cds we picked up at Sams.

"The Boss" doesn't appreciate my collection of motorhead, hawkwind, etc.

You wanna borrow my system of a down cd? That'd probably be funny to you, but I'm guessing you may not have heard of them! Who are hawkwind?

Prong, Helmet, Suicidal Tendencies, Kyuss, Pixies and Sugar on high rotation in the work van at the moment.

I'm an aficionado of 90's alternative.
If I ever have them, I'm going to lock my children in a room and make them listen to the music of "my era"!

Psychedelic guitars.
It was a "Journey"
The days before Eccy's. Suck down cones and crank it.......I've grown up now though

Aido you freakin rock! Jesus, wouldn't wanna be stuck near you in a traffic jam, me too with the 90's but not quite so alternative, pumpkins, pearl jam, sonic youth, Alice in chains, soundgarden
Agree about the kids thing though, I would kick them out (when they come along) if they say anything that offends myself or the smashing pumpkins.

Still got my Pumpkins glow in the dark shirt.

Serve yourself No one else can do for you like you
And no one else fails like me
In my eyes I burn alive
Fly like a bird
No more words just you and I
High in the sky

Also still got my Pennywise shirt that is no longer worn because it is too fragile from too many trips into the mosh pit, jumping fences, "discussing matters" with security and falling down "tired". I can account for every tear in it.

But anyway on with the show.

These days I'm just the crusty old fella up the back nodding away - the bloke I used to see when I was young.
I'm too old for live gigs these days - the last one I went to was Tex Perkins, Man in black. It was a sit down affair at The Atheneum and the average age was 52! Still rocked though. Big up ya to both Tex and Johnny Cash.

Doing another tour this year....TBA
Tickets & Dates | The Man In Black Tickets & Dates | The Johnny Cash Story, Starring Tex Perkins

Seriously don't miss it. Fan, passerby or have no idea of JC it is a fantastic show and Tex sings it true.

Triple J has Gaids these days...maybe I'm just old.
There was a building site I was on before christmas where every radio was on JJJ and I fair dinkum would have preferred to be stabbed in the eye with a besser brick than have to listen to that hippie, techno fussion, quirky, homo loving, do good by the indigenous, doubt everything, form your own opinion as long as it conforms to the above poofters and lesso's that program and shove crap music down your throat that they spew out.

My 2c

Currently listening to five finger death punch, Any and all soilwork, ill nino, Metallica.... The trusty Iphone with winamp radio and heavy heavy metal playing makes my trip go faster.

Brett

Dunno why you need the flame suit Dave. Six discs, Melinda Schnieder, The Poor, The Poor, Airbourne, Airbourne, Hoodoo Gurus. 4 Brad Paisley's in the glove box along with Morbid Angel and Terroriser which came out last week.

The 12th man or some country music.

Flame suit on.

Dave.

Got all of Billy Birmingham on the Iphone ---that is all. Passes the day whilst fitting out a cellar. Plus it distracts anybody that comes near with the intention of distracting me with questions of beer.
