What size tyre to suit 17x7 inch rims?

Hi all,

I am a newbie to this site and have not long purchased my first Navara in which i am very happy with.

My question is as i have 17x7 inch rims i am looking at putting some decent rubber on and i was wanting to pick other peoples brains as to what would the biggest size tyre i can actually put on without them scrubbing and so on.

I have just standard suspension at the moment but i will be looking at lifting it later down the track.

and to answer your question 265/70/17 will fit

Welcome Marc,
I now run 265/70/17 MTZ and although I have a small lift there is no risk of scrubbing.
