Weak rims

Hi all,
Has any-one had issues with run out of 17' Titanium Rims. Both of my rears are out one 8mm and the other 2 mm, Zero damage to rims or tyres and 40000kms on clock of easy driving. Should be warranty but Nissan have refused. Has anyone had simmilar issue?

There is a recall on the stock rims but havent heard any issues on others.
Do you have a pic of the wheels?

I don't have any photos at the moment, but please keep the issue in mind as new rims are ONLY $1430.00 each. Very Disapointed with Nissan as they won't sort it out. The car is parked up until I can sort it out or buy 2 rims or more prob aftermatket ones and get some $change.
I m unable to find any good rims that are not to loud, any suggestions?

Are they vibrating very bad.. i imagine the 8mm one would be very unsafe and near impossible to balance. What reason did they give for denying the claim? physical damage or the like?

Are the rims out of round by 8mm and 2mm, or are we talking off-centre by those amounts?

That should be a consumer affairs matter. If the rim is 8mm out of round then it would not be deemed 'fit for purpose'. Contact the CA people in your State.
