Ute dimensions for Canopy fittment

I know this question has probably been answered a million times but buggered if I can find the answer, after 3 hours trawelling the net can someone please help. I have a 2006 Nissan Navara STR which i want to put a canopy on. Did they change the ute sizes from the first D22 are they all the same? Also will a D21 canopy fit on the D22 ? Struggling to find a second hand one at a reasonable price. Rang local Nissan dealer and they were useless and had no idea. Please help. Thanks

Dunno about D21-D22, I think there was a post a while back with the relative sizes of a D21 canopy for sale that they compared to the early D22's but I don't remember the verdict. Otherwise the only change I know of happened between 09 and 10. Not sure why you're having trouble finding a 22 canopy, there is usually quite a few on ebay, colour matching is often a problem but over the last 12 months we've seen just about every colour in the "seen a bargain" thread.

Thanks there is one on ebay at the moment, wrong colour but it is only $600. Bloke says it is off a 1999 D22 which i thought that was the D21, dont want to win it and then find out it doesn't fit. Lots of D22 come up but it's just a matter of finding one with a higher roof, preferably blue and not to pricey !
