Hi All,

After destroying my diff I am after an e-locker. Have found a site in the US that seems to have them much cheaper.

Can anyone tell me if this would be compatible with a 2012 Manual ST(vsk) ?

Or any of these?

At $800 you cant lose! I have my diff out and in peices I cant seem to fine part numbers on it though? It says EA10 on the outside and on the internal gear housing it says EA511.

Yeah will do, although am hoping to get it posted by a mate to try save some coin...

I emailed nissan to get the ratio and model of my diff. Hopefully 1 step closer....

Front = Easy but need to do 3mm of grinding on each side wall
Rear = Hard due to needing custom made shims of correct thickness

Would not attempt rear unless you know a good machinist and have good mechanical skills

This is for a D22, im not sure if the D40 runs a similar or completely different front diff.

My front was a 6 hour job, 1 hr to remove diff from Nav, 30 mins to open the diff up, 30 mins to put new bearings on E Locker and to drill 12mm hole for power cables. 30 mins to grind sidewalls, 1 hr to reassemble, set backlash and fill diff with oil. 1 hr to put back in nav and 1 hr to run wires and wire up relay/switch.

I bought mine through Opposite Lock. Took just over a week for delivery and costs around $1500

Yeah, the d40 is a direct bolt In. Its just a matter of finding the Eaton part number and sourcing from a US supplier.

The D40 from Spain runs a M226 diff ,12 bolt, 32 spline Dana
Not sure about the Thai trucks
Anyway this is from the US Eaton site

The M226 diff is in the Frontier, Xterra, Pathfinder ( modified housing ) and last but not least the Titan. The early D40 ST-X has the M226 but not sure when and if it changed from there .

The Eaton TruTrac part number for the M226 12 bolt is #913A582

Are you referring to the front diff, my front crown? Has 10 bolts. Unless I'm referring to the wrong part

Yeah, they have sent me this. Doesn't seem to have Eaton part numbers on it though.

looking at that chart i'd say it goes front spline count 27, part #A11xxx rear spline count 32, part #A11xxx. then the diff ratios and bolt counts are in the comments part so you'd just have to work out which one yours is...

yeah and they probably create their own part numbers to suit too so you can't easily cross reference them...

It would be easier to just go through Harrop or Opposite Lock, then you wont risk making a mistake
