tyres and raising d40 2009

Hi all, I am a Toowoomba QLD newbie on here, I own a 2009 stx d40 Dual Cab 4l v6 Nav, I would love to retyre it with 285/75r16s on 8" rims, and also install a 2" lift kit on it, has anyone had any experience with this, legaly and practicaly, appreciate all comments thanks,
