Gday all,
Just wondering if anyone cleans the turbo in situ or removes all hoses etc? I am use to using throttle/carby cleaner spray to remove residue build ups on other cars but this is the first time I'm doing a service on a Turbo diesel - never bothered cleaning my previous one . I've seen egr and turbo sprays but wondering if people use them similarly to the throttle cleaners and do it in situ or I have to pull all the pipes intercooler off etc...? I don't want to be anal about it would just like to give it a bit of clean so if it's doable and I can spray the stuff through the turbo etc then start it up to create a hole in the ozone layer then thats good enough for me...
