I managed to call the Mrs last year from up the paddock behind where Josh was getting ready for the night run, I had my right leg in the air, left hand elevated to the North and my head tilted 34.6deg towards my right shoulder.

We've got a grandson to wake and get moving, so I'm not sure we can get there at sparrow's fart but we'll try. I think I'll stick to UHF 15 like we normally do.

I will have my son with me, so we wont leave that early but for me i dont have much choice living so far away.
If i leave to late i will be there Saturday night not the morning... lol

At this stage i think i will only be able to make it for saturday.
Hopefully i will be there before 9;30am but that will depend on how the roads are i guess.

What happening on the Friday? does the actual comp start then? or Saturday?

There is no mobile phone coverage out there. There is coverage at Bulga but not where Tuff Trucks is.

Been invited to a party on saturday, but Ill probably do Tuff Trucks though.

been good weather around the area, im at 1 mile for the week then heading down friday morning.im not in the d40 but easy to find white santa fe and little jayco swift,has cobar crapota on mud flaps, drop in a say hello.

Eggs? Mate, I don't want to shake the hand of the guy that said "I am eating the next thing that comes out of that chickens bum!!" because only God knows what he's been doing since! Seriously, we'll be having brekky on the way in, but the wife takes 1 lump and I take 2. Will try calling as we enter Broke so you'll know when we're about 10km away.

We won't know what the queues are like at the gate either, hopefully that early they won't be too bad!
