Hi guys just got my tax return check and ready to buy some new suspension. Really have my heart set on the Tjm XGS gold stuff. Anyone with this fitted had any problems? also from what iv read is it fairly standard practise to have to grind a little bit of the UCA to get the shocks to fit without touching, is this correct ?? thanks

I have Tough Dog lift and am rapt with it.
I have big bore 41mm shocks and had a look at the clearance between them and the UCA's.
They only touch when the wheel is at full extension (off the ground).

if the shocks are fatter than standard you will have to grind a little bit out, i had to with my ironman shocks but as said before its when the wheel is fully extended down it hits, but it is only a small amount that has to go

Personally feel Bilstein/Koni would be a better investment but thats just me, im happy to spend more on stuff like that.

also zordo on here might be able to get you a better price on a kit.

I have the XGS Gold shocks and am very happy with them. In my opinion they are one of the best big bore shocks on the market. I had them installed at TJM and have never had any problems with fouling on the UCAs. I don't think they had to do any grinding.
