HI all,
My 05 ZD30 has been leaking coolant and oil for some months. The mechanic couldn't suss it out so I investigated it myself. After removing the alternator, engine fan, radiator shroud etc, I found that the leak which I thought was coming from the timing cover was actually coming from the back of the timing case. I can get the metal gasket suplied no worries but from what the mechanics said (and his nissan engine expert mate in melb) it is an epic task to pull all the timing gear an tensioners etc off to do the job.
Has anyone done this themselves or got it done if so how much did it cost you?
PS: I have already tried liquid intelligence leak stop and external sealing attempts (has helped the coolant leak).
