^ Seen that video a while back. The technology in those plane motors were crazy.

Car engines didn't start using multivalve or multi cam really until the late 1980's.

Yet the plane motors had all that back in the 1940's.

Nice sounding old Detroit doing a pull.

I'm just wondering if the guy has still got the Chevy, I saw it years ago but it wasn't running and I figured by now someone would surely have got a pic of it doing the quarter or even just a high speed pass somewhere.

I miss the days of the old tractor pulls, we used to have a tractor pull down a few times a year. All those thumping great monsters dragging a weighted sleigh down a dirt track, they still do them just not down this way very often.

A mate of the old man's used to run a tractor in those events 20 odd years ago, not sure he still does but we used to go to a lot of them around the state back then.

20 years ago we used to have them at Briag twice a year but I never see it advertised any more so I have no idea what happens. I think they tried to get another one going semi local but it had never enjoyed the popularity of the 80's tractor pulls.

Krafty in his truck driving days.

He is the one with the pornstar Moustache.

Wasn't that posted a few weeks back? I remember watching it thinking that jack knife was brilliant control until I saw it again with the tow cable.

As for me driving I can but shouldn't admit to doing exactly what happened at 1:29, difference was there was a tree about where the camera man was. (was being the the right word).

Ah ok I might have been sent it from somewhere else. Apparently the trailer is a banana company, no idea if the trailer is full at the time but I'd reckon if they added milk they could have had some nice smoothies made in the back of that Pan.

Not sure I've ever had the wheels of a semi airbourne like that (hard to see when your in the drivers seat) but I've had the wheels of the rigid bread truck of the ground on a dirt road like that guy does.
