Hi guys, I have recently set up a slide on camper on a 2012 RX extra cab. I am very happy with the cars performance with the 800 kg camper on it's back exept for the suspension bounce, I fitted bellow airbags and run about 80 psi. but am thinking I will need to upgrade the shockies. Have any members had similar problems and what is the best solution, many thanks for your time, Lobster.

Do leaf springs and shocks. No point doing just shocks if the leaf springs are rooted. I can recommend Sax suspension 3stage leaf springs.

You need to get some custom springs made, I don't know of anyone who will supply a standard spring able to hold a constant load of 800kg and drive normally unloaded. You will probably need a dual shock setup and possibly some hydraulic bumpstops.

I would also check out the threads on broken chassis, as your trucks an excellent candidate to be added to those pages.

+2 probably need constant load springs, which will be rough as unloaded
