Got a buzz/rattle in the steering wheel of the 2012 D40 and would like to get the trim off to try and fix it as it's driving me nuts. There's a hole in the back of the trim but I am unable to determine what type of screw head is in there. Does anyone have any hints?

I would suggest it's a Phillips head, most of the screws in the car are, surely you can put a screw driver in the hole and gently move it to see what fits.

If it's the hole in the underside of the steering wheel when the wheel is in the straight-ahead position, it's not a screw hole. You use a flat-bladed screwdriver and push upwards on the metal wire inside - this releases the front panel. Be very careful - you run the risk of deploying the airbag.
