hey guys i have just put a new motor in my D40 arfter dropping the timing chain and i used all of my original turbo , manifolds ect and i started the ute and straight away it was in limp mode. showing codes of
0335
0113
0110
any suggestions on what to do and how to troubleshoot? :)

P0110 doesn't exist in the manual.

P0113 is Intake Air Sensor - indicates your MAFS has malfunctioned. It could be dirty or not connected properly. Do NOT insert anything into the little hole in the end of it - it's a $400 device that will be destroyed by inserting anything other than a spray of electrical contact cleaner.

P0335 is the Crankshaft Position Sensor. Sometimes it's just a dodgy electrical connection, other times it's loose and I've once heard of metal filings on it causing issues.

It's possible that P0110 is something to do with the MAFS itself although it's unlisted. The MAFS reads two values - the intake temperature, and the number of grams per second of air passing by it. Google results show P0110 is generally the same as P0113, so check the MAFS and maybe that error will disappear.

hey guys i have cleared the others but am still stuck with the P0335 crank shaft sensor fault can you guys tell me where this sensor is an any ideas?

also guys would it have anything to do with the engeine that come out i belive was a euro 4 as it had plastic tappet cover and the engeine i put in was alloy but i only used the head and the block i put all of my tappet cover , turbo, timing chain cover , intake manifold everything off my old motor onto this?

Crankshaft position sensor is on the RH upper side of the Bellhousing, it takes its reading from the flywheel. Possibly damaged when removing the engine (the ring gear teeth will collect it) or not reconnected?

hey guys.
thanks for your help! i have finially fixed it today as not knowing about the crank sensor on the bell housing. i searched pics on google and it kept coming up pics of the cam sensor. i pulled mine out today as not knowing that u have to remove them before removing engine and shure enough it was snapped so i put the cam sensor in from the other motor and no more limp mode :D

thanks for all input people it was the cas on the bell housing it was busted during remove or refit put another one in it back in business goes like a rocket again
