Just got told that my car has been flagged by Nissan Australia that it is "restricted warranty" due to being highly modified. I bought the car when it was less than 12 months old and was standard save for a bullbar.
So my question is what constitutes highly modified in Nissan's eyes? When i spoke to the dealership that i purchased it from regarding the alleged modifications, they told me that they were not aware of any modifications save for the bullbar.
They have also said that they will need.my car for an "unspecified period of time" to try to fix my cruise control after it being back twice already and they still cant fix it (it has not been working for over 2 months since i first asked them to look at it). The dealership has offered to give me a nissan pulsar while they look at mine though (how generous).
Sounds like I am in for an interesting 2 years until the factory warranty expires
