Skinny vs fat 33" tyres

I came across this article whilst looking for
info to help me decide what size tyre to run
on my d21.
It's a bit of a 'skinny' vs 'fat' kinds thing.
Made for an interesting read anyway so
I thought I'd share it.

Off the top of my head -
Pluses for skinny = cheaper to buy, cheaper to drive, fit standard wheels.
Pluses for fats = bigger footprint on sand for same pressure as skinnys.

Did i miss any?

Guy's as I have posted I'm running the KM2 Bfg 255/85R16, have some pic's in my garage, if any one is interested I could post some more/other, the 255/85R16 is around 33.4inch

Yes but tall and wide tyres give a longer and wider footprint haha.

For beach I would go with the tallest widest tires I could get.

For mud/rock I would go with anything 11 inch wide. Not too wide but enough to get you out if your in a bog hole.

But that is just how I see things.
