second hand chipit

gday, thinking of buying a second hand chipit. it was on a d22, mines a d40, will it just be a matter of getting the d40 tunes (are these easy to get) or will the d22 work on the d40 aswell (both 2.5)? cheers

I think they are completely different units.

The d40 has a VNT which is controlled by the computer, and thus modified by the chip. D22 does not do this so dont think the chips are interchangeable. But im not an expert on the matter

Pretty sure they are the same mate, when I bought mine it had on the front of the box for d40 and d22 navara.

He said 2.5 so no zd30, both common rail, i am sure it will just need a reset, ask the guys at chipit in Clarkson WA

mine came with d40 and d22 tunes so i assume they would work if anything u might have to get a new wire harness from chip it it is all plug and play so would be easy to do
