Scangauge e - good service

I brougt a scangauge-e a month or so ago, installed it and went on a trip. The economy calculations didn't seem to be working as I expected so I sent the manufacture an email when I got back.

They told me it is a software bug that they had seen before, sent me a new unit, and told me I could keep the old one.

I was impressed.

did you buy it locally or direct from the manufacturer in the US?

I had the same issue with a scangauge 2 but I didn't get a resolution quite as easily as you. I bought it from the US. Not sure why because I bought one years ago from the Australian distributer.

I brought it locally, from Ample Outdoors.

I assumed I was doing something wrong so contacted the manufacture just asking what I was donif wrong, they sent me a replacement

Mine's not an E but it's turned a little inaccurate so I've gone back to calculating it in my head, although fuel economy while dragging 2 tonnes around the farm paddock is not overly great so I'm kind of ignoring economy right now too.

I have an E and it seems to be pretty accurate. Unless i drive like a dick it is usually only 1-2 L out at each fill

I'm going to reset mine next fill and see if it improves any.
