Riddle me this

Hey all,

Sometimes I wonder what goes though a car designers head..
on the D40 ST Auto, why isn't the gear selector illuminated?

They can put pointless air vent in the roof, but no handy light on the shifter lol

That is pretty silly, i havent been in an auto at night so i cant why or even if other models are illuminated.

And im not sure that thing in the roof is a vent, i thought it may be for the mic for the bluetooth/ handsfree set up?? or is it a pointless vent??

I just went out and checked - mine's illuminated. Could you have a blown bulb?

Mine was lit up 5 mins ago when I came home too, not that I need to know what gear it is in but it's got lights in there.

3 days old? Take it back to the dealer, unless you got it used...
