QD32 Tachometer Signal

Hi all,

Any idea where this comes from?

Tacho started bouncing around after mud on the weekend, came good for a bit after washing the engine bay amd the died entirely. Considering this I suspect it's an issue with the engine bay side rather than behind the dash.

The QD32 gets its tachometer signal from the Engine Revolution Sensor which is the only sensor on the timing chain cover (see this thread).

Sorted now. There was a break in a wire near the plug, 30 seconds of soldering and job done.

Pressure washer must have moved the wires enough to make contact so it worked after being washed.
