Hi all,
Have a 2011 Thai D40 RX 5Spd with 340ks. Engine has a small, very regular surge from 2300RPM up. The surge pulse rhythm is about 1 per second. When flooring it, it is pronounced enough to push you back into the seat a smidge every small time it surges.
Some passengers don't even notice under normal driving until I mention it. Just frustrating as I am getting the vehicle ready to sell and can't "un-notice" it. A good negotiating buyer could try to haggle down at least 3-4K worth arguing that a fuel injection pump replacement would be in order...want to avoid that.

No other associated issues (not stalling/limp mode, no smoke ect).

Professional Work:
Not long had Timing Chains Replaced as well overdue. Timing Checks out.
Around same time (not sure if before or after) noticed the surge. Workshop in town couldn't find issue with 6hrs fault finding.
Fuel Rail Px tested = good.

DIY Work:
Turbo Boost Solenoid swapped out.
Air Flow Sensor Cleaned.
All Vacuum Hose replaced including RH side near SCV.
Smoke Test all round and can't find any static leaks.
Injectors replaced with near-new; coding not yet done but nil change before or after the swap.
Lastly SCV just replaced.
Foot dance completed several times/after most component changes.

Are there any fuel injection or turbo experts on here? Any leads?
It is constant and so rhythmic that I think it may be fuel delivery but seemingly also only happens when under boost...

TIA for any help.

Addendum - with all the extra attention it is otherwise running very nicely 🤷‍♂️
