Canberra have pity !!!!!
hey guys
I want to paint the plastic inserts that hold the fog lights/indicators on the genuine D40 Alloy bar. Whats going to be best as far as paint goes. I dont want to bother my painter while he is doing the rest of the truck and to be honest they dont need flash black paint.
I was thinking a good clean then just black engine enamel.
Any ideas?

Its hard to paint them once the plastics aquire sillicone soaked in after a while.
Its highly likely to peel and look shit if you dont spend the hours prepping.
If the plastic is raw unpainted and just needs something to clean it I use Autoglym plastic cleaner its pink comes in a 1lt bottle and is about 30bucks. DIesel base no silicone based product.
If your set on painting it lots of hours cleaning silicone off with wax n grease remover.
then couple coats of plastic primer before applying epoxy enamel paint.
