Hi all, hopping someone can help, i have a 2009 D40 STX, currently sitting at ZUPPS Aspley since the 09.03.2022 to have Nissan fix an issue. The problem is the car will not start unless it is hand primed while the car is being turned over. If you leave the vehicle for any period of time after starting it will not start and you have to repeat the whole process again. There is also the N.A.T.S and engine fault light is on constantly.
It is showing a high resistance fault (P2118) for the throttle body. Nissan have just informed me that they are unable to fix the issue as their efforts to diagnose has been unsuccessful. They have replaced the MAF sensor, suction control valve, primer pump, the batteries in the keys, and all the turbo hoses as they said there was a boost leak.
Surely this cannot be that hard, or am i missing something. The vehicle has 132,000 k's on the clock, serviced every 5000 k's and has never missed a bit since buying it.
Any ideas, wisdom or recommendations would be greatly appreciated. I have been directed to remove the car by the end of next week.
