Odometer issue

Hi people,

Just bought a Navara and it has an odometer issue. Is there anyone out there who has encountered this??

The picture attached shows 135k. I was lucky and the previous owner was meticulous with his log book. He said he had the problem for about 20k. Is there a reset function or something similar I can try?

most likely just a display problem. need new instrument cluster. but there is specialist companies that do repair them.

the other thing to check, i've had issues with speedo loosing trip meter etc and it seamed to be caused by the battery. replaced battery, clean terminals up (or replace) and its been fine ever since.

It's a real long shot - but try connecting an additional (good) earth to the stereo chassis.

Why - some Navaras (either D22 or D40) have had troubles with the instrument cluster beause of a poor earth, and the earth for the cluster is often reliant on the stereo.
