Hi all - just joined!
We have an 07 D40 - have had since brand new - has 140k on clock now. Has had a ticking noise on start up since about 100k, has now started ticking the whole time not just start up. Mechanic says it sounds like the timing chain!!
Some research says it can cost over $10k to fix! Mechanic says it won't snap and can wait another 1000 km! But I have to take the car on a trip this week and am worried that it will stuff up!!
Anyone else had any experience or knowledge with this?????
