I have to head up early, so I won't be in the group heading up, but when we did the Merriwa run we found it convenient to meet here. Bottom of the map is that Private Trczinski bridge, the one just off the roundabout between the Cessnock and Maitland/Paterson turnoffs on Les Darcy Drive.

Side of the road there beside the lake is plenty of area to pull over. It's double-lane through there with plenty of visibility for pulling back out onto the road.

Don't forget to choose a UHF channel.

So whats the general idea guys? Are we meeting where Tony has suggested? 8.00/8.30/9.00am Friday? Ch 15?

8:30 to 9am would be good for me, as my Missus comes of dogwatch that morning. Yeah that's where Tony said.

maitland to tooraweenah according to google maps is 390ks , 5hrs 15 minutes
add a stop for lunch maybee 1/2 hr ?
refuel at gilgandra 1/2 hr ?
allowing for long weekend traffic and possible delays we are looking at 6 hrs minimum
so if we left at 9 we should be there by 3ish
