Looking for an apprenticeship in the Brisbane area

I am looking to start an apprenticeship (pretty much any trade), however being a mature age (only 25) I am finding it pretty difficult.

Is there anyone out there, in the Brisbane area, that is looking for a hard working bloke?

I did this a few years ago, in the turf industry. But what I did was get hired as a laborer and then did an apprenticeship equivalent at night school in a year.
That way didn't get the shitty wage... although the wage is still shitty in Turf!

Energex take on mature Apprentices, you get third year wages, with no prior experience. My mate was a Supercheap Manager 27 years old. They took him on
Or like has been said The Armed Forces. I was in the Navy for 12 years,brilliant career.

Thanks guys. Will have to look into the Forces I think. Would be a pretty secure sort of job I imagine too.

+1 on doing something at night school while you wait.
It is very competitive even for the young guys.
