Gday everyone from Bob one half of the Bob and deb, I have just swapped my d22 2002 nav for my sons 2009 d40 (with a cash consideration), he needed extra cash as he was buying a house. My d22 was well and truely set up for towing and the outback ( many a fond memory)
Question: it is a thai built model has anyone sourced a long range fuel tank to suit it, all I seem to find are ones for the spain built model

Welcome to the forum, Bob.

Another place to look - ARB sells the Longranger tanks, and they don't seem to indicate any different tank to cater for Spanish/Thai builds - just 2005 onwards.

They do things a little differently - it's a separate tank, gravity feed into your original one.

I have a Thai build and a LRA tank fitted Im pretty sure LRA is longranger correct me if im wrong. but its a complete steel replacement not the additional sub tank.

Hope this helps.

^ Far better vehicle.

We will let that one slip as you D40 driver's cop a fair bit of slack.

I have a Longranger I think it is in my D22. Bought it from TJM.

One of the best mod's I have done.

Woody's got a long range in his, you could check out his thread for more details. Chances are you could probably steal it from him too since his ute spends more time broken than running. :ha:

LRA is 'Long Range Automotive" Madd40, confusing I know, but different to Longranger. I put an Ironman one in mine 145L, but I'm pretty sure they only do spanish models.

Well cheers for that LRA make Thai ones and in Geelong I got mine supplied and fitted for a grand if you were curious on pricing.
