Hey all.
Brought me a 2005 d22 str last year and absolutely love it. Been watching this site for awhile and have seen some discussions about certain rims not clearing breaks etc. Im thinking of putting some 31" muds on it but would like to know what size rims other members have fitted on these trucks before i make a decision. Would 15x8 with a -19 offset fit?? any help would be appreciated.

a 15x8 -19 is a relatively aggressive wheel offset wise.

factory is 16x7 +20... so that will would stick out roughly an extra 51-52mm - if you aren't worried about them protruding the guards and the police attention, should be sweet and look good!

I dare say they will still foul under full luck and flex even with a 31" tyre, but nothing a bit of trimming cant fix

just as a reference,

my wheels are 16x8 +0 offset

the rim itself pokes but the actual tread blocks on the tyre sit perfectly back inside the guards, just!
