Any King Cab owners taken out the rear seats and and rear dress bulkhead?

Is it a straight up rip and bust or is there some tricks to it? I would like to keep the gear scratch free in case I ever want to sell it. Looks like it will open up a bit of space back there.

I'm wondering if it's technicaly legal as it is registered as a four pax. vehicle.

Edit: Come to think of it, I guess the dual cab is not alot different when it comse to removal of the seats

Thanks.

Someone posted the legalities of such a thing about 18 months ago. I don't remember what model or the title but I'm sure they removed the seat for storage space and posted their states laws relating to it. Maybe some one else remembers more than me.....which wouldn't b hard.

Couldnt see why it would be illegal. We used to have a troopy which was an 11 seater or something and the reg was crap so we ripped all the rear seats out and had it registered as a two seater possibly 3.
