But who'll launch the investigation into powerful lobby groups (rich peoples unions)? Can't have one without the other if we really want clean politics.

You mean those successful people who employ people while the corrupt union's try to screw business at every chance.

You know, like keeping lazy sacks of crap in a job, making business uncompedative by constanly pushing for higher wages.

People do less work now then they did 30 years ago, union's, work cover and the ALP's industrial relations make sure they do.

Ever wondered why business prefer casual's and part time workers. They can get rid of them easier, dont have to pay holidays etc.

Work for yourself and you'll see how bad unions are.

Labor really cares for these people.

They ruined their day with a shit fight over the idiotic policies, leadership and do as we say attitudes.

I hope Labor are in oppostion for 10 years atleast. What a bunch of !@#$ up's they're.

That was fcking disgusting -- self absorbed navel gazing primadonnas (the whole lot of them) couldn't leave it be for one day and make the apology really count. They're all arses!

You mean those successful people who employ people .

I mean the arseholes who abuse 457 visas. The arseholes who try to destroy public infrastructure programs for their own profit. The arseholes who no longer employ Australian workers, rather they farm the work out to 3rd world countries with no labour laws. The arseholes who want special concessions to pay no tax while earning billions. The arseholes who have too much influence on public policy at the expense of ordinary people.

All of those going-ons need to be made transparent along with unions and political parties.

I knew you wouldn't let me down Dave, if only the media was as reliable as you we could actually trust them to tell the truth when they write stories.

Oh for sure Dave. We should just let Australia be run my market fundamentalist. I mean what the hell is goverment getting involved in in any corprate affairs. We should let News Limited print what ever they want without any substantiantion. We should totally get rid of the of any public service, ther'e bludgers anyway, right. That could be done my publicly listed NGO's.
Just think Dave with a bit luck you may see total dominace on both lower and upper house poltics of extremely right wing protagaonist for generations to come. There is not much doubt you will be happier man after September 14 but I have a funny feeling it wont last for long.

If you want a look to future, take a look at what is happening in Queensland. Translate that to a Fedral scale times by about 7.

And on Bob Carr. He maybe a pompus prick but an idiot?

The whole political system is floored. There should be no political parties at all, each elected member should only be there to represent their constituents and by free to vote on policies anyway they think best for their area, not because the party says so. Pretty much they should be all independents.

And I'm goin to open a big can off worm, but democracy is great but capitalism sucks. Communism is shit, but socialism has the grounds to work for everyone. One country has taken the best of socialism and mixed it with democracy to give a system that "seems" to be fair n just for everyone. There is no private health industry, schools, no private infrastructure, everything is controlled by the government. No paying to drive on roads, no paying to go to the doctors, it's all like bulk bill, no private power stations jacking up the price. And when you think of it, it's how things use to be. We need to turn back the clock and take a leaf out of Canada's book.
Our great nation is circling the drain, don't kid yourself, in the last 6 months I know of 1500 people easy being laid of from my industry me included, in my home town 400 people are out of work due to smelter plant closers, plus more will go from contractors and suppliers. We need to stop selling our resources and bring back manufacturing thing here. If we don't sell them the ore they can't make it cheap in china.
There are some industries that need to pull there head in and stop butting their hands out and give everyone else a chance.

Big business in melbourne wants to buy a public funded and built road so they can turn it into a toll way

As much as it's a terrible idea for the general public who use it, on paper it looks good because the government get a large wad of cash and absolve themselves of responsibility and since governments only ever look at paper scenarios and not real world you can see why someone thought it was a good idea to air.

The government have of course canned it because it will upset the voting public and rightly so but now that the offer is out there I wouldn't be surprised to see it rear it's ugly head a few times in the future then once whoever wins gets over the next election they will change the policy, rename it as their own and claim it's what the state needs because at the end of the day it promises to boost the state coffers (temporarily) by a large sum.
