Insurance value b4 purchase

I know its not a Nissan but.
A mate looked at a Prado gxl 04 80,000klms. One owner immaculate
Dealer paid 23k, selling for 30k.
Nrma said market value 16,800. Most cover they offered 21k agreed for 1st year.

Worth checking b4 buying eh, its a big loss.

Market value is based on what the car is worth at the time of total loss for a private sale, based on overall condition..... Just jump on car sales and find a few alike comparisons in the same condition and see what they are going for
