Inner wheel arch mud flap

Hey guys.
New to the forum.
I have just bought a np300 nav after having a d22 for a while. Just a quick one. i have noticed under the front wheel arch on both sides has exposed engine components. Should i be worried for sand driving etc?

Should i be worried for sand driving?

Not to worry Mate, weather you can see past the plastic inner guard or not, sand makes its way into every thing and EVERY WHERE anyway. Just follow a normal after clean with fresh water and you shouldnt have any issue
