Hi all,
I am looking at replacing my existing globes with 100/90W H4 Xenon Globes or H4 7500K XENON BULBS HEADLIGHT BULBS.

Any suggestions on which is better?
I am too poor to do the HID upgrade at the moment.

Cheers boys and girls.

Don't do it. It gives me and other motorist the shits. Not the wattage, the colour temp. Once you go over 6000K your light output is going backwards or certainly what the human eye perceives. The human eye has the most sensativity and contrast in the middle of the visable light specturm.
If you are droping in 90/100's you may want to upgrade the headlight loom as the wiring on the thing is soooo thin.
Having said all that go for a good brand, it cost more but they last. Phillips Osram or Narva are a few.

Welcome to the forum.

Anything over 4300K breaks ADR anyway, 6000K stands out bad enough to draw attention and 7500K should have the cops stopping you every second block.

They're glary, and the blue reflection off things will make your eyes go funny. The yellow-ish 4300K light is designed to be closer to sunlight, giving a more natural reflection of light making it easier to see at night.

What you COULD do is get some decent driving lights. One spot for distance, one flood for broadness, and nobody's going to bitch at you, give you a fine, or worse a canary.

saw a thing on 4wdtv about higher wattage globes, they said it wont give any more light what so ever, just a hell of a lot more heat which can melt the wiring and headlight lense

That's not strictly true. I've put Fatboys in my headlights - higher wattage, but not much higher colour (which is what the kelvin scale refers to). Light output is dramatically improved.

$160 or so for a pair of globes.

I've just bought off Fleabay a set of HID for $60 delivered..they have come down a S^^^ load in the last few years...I bought my 1st for my road bike 7yrs ago and cost me $500...now $60 for a pair

here's some HID's 55W put into my IPF's on the cruiser...would never go back..btw---I have all 5 fingers LOL
