Howzit, been lurking for a while. been driving my Spain built D40 for 13 years , previous truck was a D22 for 6 years and a hilux before that. Id be keen on learing a few tips and tricks when it comes to mantinace on these wagons.

Useally with regular maintaince - oil, air and fuel filters and a good solid drive more often then not- these utes go for many hundreds of thousands of kays trouble free
egr block and a decent oil catch can wont hurt longevity either.

cheers, Yeah they are good trucks. Im happy with mine, Havnt had any work on it yet except for u joints and a scv . Also 5 windscreens but thats due to crap nz roads. Yep i have a catch can and will look into doing a egr block. I actually just ordered 2 x u joints from an aussie crowd today.
