How you know if Thai built???

VIN will tell you. MNT = Thai JN1 = Jap

Some people the windscreen wipers say japan or something, but my thai has japan wipers to that theory is BS

I had this conversation with my mechanic this week ! He has had a Spanish and a Thai Built D40 and he told me that when he got the new thai built one . He couldn't believe how much better the Thai one is . That being said ! What do I know I have a Jap D22

A lot will come down to personal impressions
I would much rather the fit and finish of my 2007 Spanish ST-X to the 2011 base model I borrowed that was made in Thailand
Its like (opening huge can of ugly worms) the difference between the D22 and the D40
They are different trucks
You get features from Spain you dont get from Thailand and vice versa
