hi! just a new guy with a... pathfinder (R51) and some issues! I'm seeking some help from the pros!

Hi everybody! thanks for letting me register onto the forum

my name is alberto and i'm from spain

I recently got a pathfinder r51 with the YD25 engine to enjoy the nature, bring my dogs to the mountain away from "dumb urbanite people" and have a big secondary car. Also the car is raised 4cm and has snorkel, 200.000km/125.000mi

the happiness from the pathfinder lasted... not that long after doing 500 kilometers (0 issues) the car now doesn't work XD

the car was fine until it started to stall at stop lights, it turned on fine again and that was all

...until the problem worsen and I had to reengage the engine 3 or 4 times accelerating and also the car stop at idle even with gear on (for example I found in a downhill when i press the gas sudenly found the engine was stall)

and now the car i turn it on but when I press the gas it does nothing or stalls (also the idle is not stable at all and may stall)

i don't go to the mechanic because I like to do it myself and learn

any suggestions about what the problem could be? I want to replace the fuel filter but dunno if that will fix the problem

tomorrow i'll try to grab a computer with obd so I can try to get error codes (if any) i'll keep upgraded. It may be usefull for other people

hello again! I just come back from connecting the computer and sadly...

Or the program ( techstream ) can't or there wasn't any DTC code

but I got some interesting value reading the few real time data the program was able to read

There's a value "Fuel Rail Pressure" that when idle (fine condition) was arround 30000-35000kPa and THEN when I press the gas IF THE ENGINE IS NON RESPONSIVE OR STALLS OR IDLE IS ROUGH that value drops to 8000-10000kPa... when the engine raises RPM okay that pressure goes up to 40000-50000kPa with some peaks of 80000 if the engine jerks and then responses (maybe to have full gas and suddenly run to 4000rpm)

could be that the fuel pressure problems due to a faulty SCV valve or clogged fuel filter?
