Gidday guys,
Have just joined forum after lurking in the shadows gaining a lot of info prior to buying my new truck.
I owned a 2003 Nissan Caravan (import) with a ZD30 in it. I had some good use out of it then at 135,000kms the head needed replacing OUCH!
Then after reading so much on here about the engine I decided I wanted an old school QD32 ETI powered truck. Also I've had to be pulled out of gravel/sand when driving the van, very embarrassing.
So I was lucky to stumble across a 2002 D22 Navara with an engine transplant. The ZD30 had blown and they had replaced with a QD32ETI, that's the turbo'd version with electric fuel pump. Am currently tidying it up but have given it a burn through a few mud holes and loved it. The power is similar to that I got out of the ZD30'd van, about 110kw if I remember correctly.
So hi to you all, there are some very nice rides in here and some bloody clued up guys.
