love tony"s response regarding hilux unfortunately cant make the run as we leave that day for a2 weeks with the van up the north coast

No worries Phil, this is our first actual run anywhere, we'll be doing one through Wollombi next, I haven't been on the trail yet but I'll convince Dave to lead me along it so that we can pick a good spot to meet, eat and depart from before we put it up.

That will also give us an idea of how difficult the track will be and what kind of recovery gear - if any - we'll need.

Na its easy, its just outside Laguna.

Its through the Yango state forest and comes out at Howes Valley (50km's outside of Singleton).
