Hi All,

New to the forum and thought i would say hello.

Looking at buying a new 4x4 in the next few months and have looked at the Hilux and have been turned off by the price and a few other things.

Mate of mine purchased a Navara recently and i am seriously contemplating buying a new one.

Look forward to chatting with you all and learning more about the Navara.

Thats a common issue with the Tikka's

I got a .204 SS varmint, .243 SS and .270 Lite

Welcome- and to right mate the Toyota in my oppinion it may be slightly better in an overall score, so to speak but the price is just to much. If I was going to pay that sort of money I would of gone the Volksy.
On the highway I think the D40 is a better drive than the Hilux.

What are you going to use it for, Touring,everyday driver or a mixed bag

Everyday driver and some light 4 wheel driving on mates property up near dargo

At this stage rabbits and foxes on mates property and other properties.

Haven't got anything with the .270 yet except paper down at little river doing load development.
Need to get my game license for deer should one popup.

Wouldn't mind getting onto some goats and pigs too.

I have a lay by on a Tikka Varmint in .308 at the moment.
SS . with a Burris scope. Shot a mates .223 and fell In love.
They dont lie about their out of the box accuracy!

spotlighting rabbits, hares and foxes with the other guns
