Just bought new spotties and want to connect them to the high beam so they come on with the high beam I just need to know where the pins on the relay go to the wires on the headlight wires as im so confused and I got quoted $400 to do this simple job from an auto sparky which was an absolute joke

I have an thai built 2013 nissan navara d22 st-r

Try this

Got a multimeter? I cheated with mine when I wired some switches in. I popped the back of the plug that goes on the headlight open and poked the wire in there tight with the high beam wire and clipped it back closed. Works really well, but you really need a multimeter as one side is ground and the other is high beam....

Search for high beam wire on the forum and there is a thread about it and locating it in the steering column loom, I'm pretty sure ben85 chucked a pic of it up somewhere in the thread too

Could always bung an eBay hid kit in them. I've got a cheap set that I got from supercheap and threw a hid kit off ebay in and they are heaps better... Always an option... Here's a pic of mine

Nice man yea was just looking at the conversion kits, might be the way to go, is it better to pay for the more pricey one like $100+ or are the cheap ones just as good?

I got a cheap 30 odd buck one and they have been fine for close to 3 years now... Preferably try and get one with digital ballasts as opposed to some of them that still have analogue ones... Depends on the wattage how much yo want to spend too, mine are 55w and plenty bright enough form me......

How the light bars over the round spotties? What's better?

Well, the light bars are no good for distance as they spread out too much, so you really get the best of both worlds with hid spotties and a light bar... Plenty of distance from the spotties and the light bar gives you close up spread that you lose quite a lot of with hids in the spotties...
