Hi guys,
I'm after a bit of advice if anyone can help me out? I've been out 4wding today everything going great until I got bogged :( a mate noticed my front wheels weren't spinning while in 4L, the light on the dash comes up and both hubs are locked? I jacked it up and spun the wheels in 4x4 (with hubs locked and unlocked) I noticed the passenger side (when locked) would turn the shaft to the diff and to the drivers side wheel, but the drivers side spins freely locked or unlocked?
So the drivers side hub isn't engaging? Will this be why I don't have 4WD?

Yep. It could have stripped the teeth, or the grease may have started getting tacky and is stopping the hub from engaging correctly.... You can pull it apart and clean it out and regrease it and see how it goes....

That's an open diff for you. If one wheel isn't being driven (either off the ground, lost traction or broken axle/cv) the other wheel will stop too. Lockers prevent it. I'd check the hub as Bods suggests, then service the other side in the same way whether it's good or not.

Thanks guys, bods you were spot on! Turned out there was too much grease in the hub
