Headlights

Gday all.
i am trying to seperate the headlight housing from the lense (due to previous owner getting dirty water in there).
it is obviously held there with some sort of glue.
does anyone know any tricks in getting it seperated as i dont want to break it.
any info would be much appreciated

if you can't get it apart, find where the water gets in (or take the bulb out) and pour some meths in to wash it out.

Thats not a bad idea from Tweak.

Ive read on another forum that you put it in the oven on low heat for a while to melt the glue. Never done it though. Would advise constant caution.

^ Seen that done with HNU12 Bluebird tail lights. Works a treat so I am told.
