Hard lid on D40

Hey, just got my ST a few days ago, secondhand, was wondering if you can drive around with the hard lid unlocked. Mine has 2x manual key locks. Feels heavy enough that it shouldn't open when on the move but don't want to risk trying it.

I used to leave mine unlocked but when on the highway if it was raining then it would open .Also when at work the wind would open it .
Under normal conditions driving round town it was ok but if the weather turned sour it was time to lock it down
I installed an electric actuator on mine so it would stay open or closed when I wanted it to .

At the moment it's a little tedious to constantly unlock both locks all the time so I might just lock down the drivers side when I need to open/close and lock both when it won't be used for a while.

Mine used to pop up when driving on bumps in the road,
When ur going at speed its verry annoying to have to stop and put her back down again! Haha

Mine is black so you can imagine looking back in the mirror and all of a sudden its totally black behind lol
