G'day New D40 on it's way

G'day,

Just wanted to say what a great site this seems. I have had a good look through the forums and got some great info on setting up my next ute.

I currently have a '08 D40 ST-X Diesel Manual which is fairly stock. I have just ordered a new ST-X Diesel Auto with a few (about $10k) accessories To say I'm looking forward to getting the new ute would be an understatement.

After reading the forums, it looks like I will be getting some bash plates fitted (probably TJM) and I'll look at doing a dual battery/power pack job.

I'll be trading in the manual on the new auto.

As for pics of my current ute, it's not really exciting at all. Just your everyday grey dual cab with a Nissan steel bulbar..... (Found a pic for you. Hope I do the link right )

I will be sure to post some pics of the new one
It will be silver and it's getting;
OME springs/shocks (approx 30-40mm lift?)
ARB Bullbar
Snorkel
Still undecided on ARB rear step towbar or just a standard towbar
+ some other less interesting stuff

The dealer tells me that they expect the vehicle to come in late October then it has to get the accessories fitted. I hope it's ready before mid November when the rego runs out on my current ute!!
