Welcome to the forum.

In the Australian versions - yours might be different, being from the UK - 2009 Manuals had dual mass flywheels so they weren't the best for towing. Autos had DPFs. Most of the system was fairly bulletproof but everyone's biggest fear (manual or auto) is the timing chain. The only advice we can give regarding it is to use genuine oil filters and listen for the startup rattle which is usually a sign that the tensioners are sticking before the oil makes its way through to them.

Other than that, they're a fairly solid vehicle. Without a front diff locker, don't go doing crazy wheelspinning in the loose stuff in 4WD because if one front wheel grips, you'll say goodbye to either one of the CVs, axles or the diff. If it still has standard suspension get ready to change it. Dual rate springs are available and work wonders.

If it doesn't have driving lights just get some. The stock headlights rate slightly lower on the brightness scale than the glow-in-the-dark stickers your kids have on their ceilings. If I had my time over again, I'd get 100W HID spots (both spots), a 30" LED light bar (I have one 20" and two 10") and fog lights. Independently switched - my light bar just turns fog into a bright, white sheet.

Oh, and do something about the girly horn.

what about Auto Nissan Navara ST 2011 its the other option, tons of service hx ?

Am I posting in the wrong place.I have a feeling there is a another place?

This is your own thread, you can post almost anything you like in it.

We don't have that caravan any more. We traded it in on a slightly larger, 700Kg-heavier van with bunk beds. Here's a shot more from the van side...

If you get the 140kW engine you'll be happy. It has better fuel economy, better torque (450Nm vs my 403Nm) and of course more power (140kW vs my 126kW). The difference isn't enough to justify an upgrade for me, and besides I rarely use all of the power available. I prefer to slow the whole show down and let the engine work mildly at getting over hills rather than belting the daylights out of it.

From memory the 140kW power plants hasn't had the same number of reports of timing chain issues as the older versions - might be an age thing too!
