Noticed today one of my manual hubs was locked on, even when in the free position. It has been gradually getting quite hard to lock/unlock - so I guess it was dying.
I have previously removed the hub and re-greased it etc..
I removed it today and removed part of it that does the locking and put it back on (so i can drive around 2wd - its my daily atm).
I'm wondering if i need to ditch this one, or can I rebuild it?
I was looking at the AVM ones, but as i may be doing a r200 front end conversion sometime in the future i did-not want to invest in some nice hubs ill have to change when the cv splines possibly end up getting changed.
Anyway, any advice on this issue?
