Reckon ud be Better off speaking to an alloy flabby and designing one yourself..
Car and it's keys have been dropped off at my trimmer to have the marine canvas cover made tomorrow. Very excited for the results!
Main reason i would like to cut complete power from battery to winch is so that just incase it ever shorts out weather in be in water or whatever, it won't activate itself and attempt to rip itself apart.
And I over compensating?

And plus I know there is a very very minor chance it'll ever happen. But i have heard of little twats pulling the cable over your car and shorting out the winch with a paper clip while it's Hooke to your tow bar and watching the at crush itself.
Gives me shivers.
That's true I didn't think about the mounts. How do you mount this?
I believe they are a 3 inch outlet mate. 4 inch is ridiculously big
d22dave said:heard people talk about that too, but never certain it wasn,t a urban myth. but whats a switch worth if it makes you feel better. If money was the main factor we wouldn,t run big tyres or put i/c on the ute or big exhausts.
d22dave said:if it,s 3 inch thats better again it would lower the profile, not by much but every bit might help. would have to change the outlet on that box to 3 inch. Would get my own tabs welded on when i worked out where it would sit
