Yeah it is cheaper but I think you could easily damage if being a rough drunk bastard. Haha
Things sliding forward. Honestly how far are they going to move?

Nah FB I don't run a fridge slide, mainly because I sit mine in the back corner and put a strap around it and the only time I want it out I want it right out of the ute. Not exactly sure which option I'd choose if I did want one.

As for movement that all depends on how you drive. Driving on bitumen mine has never moved and even driving around the farm it's never moved too far but despite the farm being lumpy and rough we don't drive around our farms the way 4WD nuts drive around tracks, we try not to dig up tracks and we drive sedately in an attempt to keep everything in the back. If you're going to do any off bitumen driving keeping things tied down or wedged in is a good idea.

Ah ok. Yeah pretty sure
I'm going to order one this week
Anyways I'm looking at ordering my winch today. But what to order. eBay cheapy or 12,000lb eBay cheapy? Great reviews on them or the tigers Hercules. Save a couple hundgey?

Okay so I was getting bored of waiting and put a bit on a tmax winch at $310.00 brand new at the moment.
The reviews on these eBay winches working perfect still after 30 uses + water crossings and 3-4 years. I'm happy with that.

The downside of any winch is you wont know just how good it is until you really need it and despite the big brand names being more widely used they aren't free from problems. If you are happy with paying less and think the winch you are buying is good enough then there is no reason why your shouldn't buy it.

Just like the missus, if you throw her in the mud then roll her in the sand, you better be prepared to offer some TLC or next time when you need to rely on her she wont live up to expectations.

Fark it must be a slow morning with dribble like that.

Yeah that's what I'm thinking. As long as I manage to keep that control box dry and check that winch every 6-8 weeks for operating I can't see it screwing me over. After all all the winches come from the same place right.
So the bits and prices of the last couple weeks.
Coleman Hot water on demand.
Engel 40l Fridge
Genuine steel Bullbar: Ordered
Fridge slide: Ordered
Tie down points for fridge: So I don't have to your handles: Ordered w/ straps
Piranha dual battery monitor: Ordered
Winch: Deciding.

Just don't tell anyone if it does break or fail that way people can't say stuff like "see you should have paid for the over priced brand name" :sarcastic:

If it does break and you need to replace it just tell everyone it's an upgrade and the cheaper one is going on ebay

Haha I'm not ashamed to tell
People I took a try. If the thing works when I receive it I am happy. I'm looking at probably extending the cables and mounting the control
Box somewhere other than on top of the bar. Might put a 3rd hella in the centre of the bar
