Electronic boost gauge fault

hey guys,
i have an electronic boost gauge fitted to the nav, for some strange reason it is reading -14 24/7.
i have had a look and all hoses and wires seem to be in tact.
any ideas guys??

Sounds to me like it's own sensor is disconnected.

Atmospheric is 14psi (actually 14.7 near enough roughly it'll do for the sake of the discussion). In order to calculate boost pressure - that is, pressure above normal atmospheric pressure, it would have to subtract 14 from what its sensor is reading.

Ergo its sensor is reading 0, and the display shows -14.

Warranty? If no warranty, I'd open it and look for a cold solder joint.
